The Sled Hill Will Be Open for the 2024-25 Season!
This hill has been our community’s winter recreation hot spot for a half century! And now, it belongs to all of US! Here’s everything you need to know about playing at The Sled Hill at Pine Street Woods:
No user or entry fee. But, since this hill is a community space, your donations will go toward its care and keeping. Thanks!
Parking is limited. Per the City of Dover, there is a 20-car maximum on site. If you can carpool, that’d be great.
New parking lot! Now you can park by the Big Red Shed - less walking to the hill, and with no cars at the base, sleds can go on and on and on…
About your dog: The dog policy at PSW applies here; keep your dog(s) within 10’ of you at all times, either by voice control or on a leash.
More on dogs: Keep dogs from trampling all over the sledding track (and for Petes’ sake, don’t let them poop there). If your dog tends to “rescue” (joyfully) screaming children by clawing and biting them as they are sledding, please leave him home.
Do not enter. The house is a private residence and is not open to the public. It would be really embarrassing if you were to walk in on the occupant unexpectedly.
Got Sleds? BYO sled if you can. We will have some available - if we can keep them from breaking. Also, inner tubes are crazy fast and not recommended for safety reasons.
Got questions? Call us: (208)263-9471, or email us: info@kaniksu.org, or message the PSW community on WhatsApp.
