For decades, Sandpoint, Idaho has been known for its world-class outdoor recreation, with Schweitzer Mountain drawing winter sports enthusiasts and Lake Pend Oreille offering summer adventures. But in recent years, a new destination has emerged as a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike — Pine Street Woods.

Despite being a relatively new public space, opening in the fall of 2019, this 180-acre community forest has quickly become one of the most talked-about places to explore in North Idaho. Its multitude of trails and trees adds to Sandpoint’s reputation as an outdoor recreation hub, contributing to the local economy.
