Come and join us in the woods for the first of Kaniksu Folk School's free seasonal gatherings!
Bring your picnic to an afternoon of live music, a cattail weaving class, an old-style wood cutting tools demonstration, games, a pie contest and more! Family friendly and opened to the community!
** A NOTE ABOUT SAFETY:
We are taking precautions to ensure that this event takes place safely.
We don't foresee a large crowd, guessing less than 100 will join us, but we do hope 1 of those 100 is YOU!
The outdoor space allows plenty of room for safely distancing. So, let’s not crash others’ picnics or otherwise invade their 6’ bubble. Please try to maintain personal space and give everyone lots of room to breath all the fresh air they can!
Your pie will be served with a smile (we are seriously smiling although we will also be masked up) and clean hands!
Dance solo, pretend no one is watching and no one else is there.
We know we are playing in the dirt but make sure that you wash your hands when using the outhouse and we will also have some fresh smelling hand sanitizer available.
Thank you very much for observing our safety measures that allow all of us to enjoy the outdoors in safe company with our community.
