Jim Zuberbuhler President
Jim is an Associate Vice President and Financial Advisor with D.A. Davidson & Co. in Sandpoint. He holds a Master’s degree in history from the University of Hawaii and a B.A. in history from the College of Wooster. Previous to becoming a financial advisor in 2007, Jim spent 25 years in education, working at a number of universities and specialized independent schools in Ohio, California and Idaho, as well as at an outdoor education non-profit in California and after-school enrichment and internship program in Massachusetts. Jim also has experience working with land trusts in California and Massachusetts. Jim is actively involved in the Sandpoint community, serving on the boards of the Forrest Bird Charter Schools, Bonner County Communiversity, and the Eureka Institute. Jim is the race director for the Long Bridge Swim, serves on the finance committee of the Waldorf School and is a member of the Sandpoint Rotary Club. Jim also serves on the board of the Idaho PTECH Network and the international Association of Communiversities. A resident of northern Idaho since 2000, Jim lives in the Baldy Mountain area of Sandpoint with his children Max and Sierra, Rex the dog and at least a dozen chickens. He and his family enjoy hiking, skiing, gardening, mountain biking, reading, snowshoeing and traveling.
