IDAHO FOREST GROUP ANNOUNCES LANDMARK CONSERVATION AGREEMENT

Shannon Carroll, IFG Director of Communications & Government Affairs I Sept. 3, 2024

In a significant conservation effort, Idaho Forest Group (IFG) has donated a conservation agreement protecting nearly 2,000 acres along an important tributary of the CDA River to Kaniksu Land Trust. This agreement outlines safeguards from development and ensures continued restoration and preservation of the tributary and adjacent land for generations to come. The donation encompasses 1,023 acres of riparian habitat (10.5 miles of the 14-mile stream), 921 acres of forested uplands, and equates to an over three-million-dollar donation by IFG.
