Earth Day events set for Saturday

SANDPOINT — You're invited to make the community a little cleaner this weekend.

On Saturday, several events are planned to picked up trash and litter, from City Beach and Sand Creek to the Pine Street Woods.

• Shoreline Clean Up — The city of Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper are partnering for their annual Shoreline Clean Up from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to help pick up trash and litter along the Sand Creek and City Beach shorelines. Read more here.
